Well the day is almost here where we will all finally be together and I don’t know about you, but I am getting really excited! I have a prayer request for everyone. All of you have done an excellent job of preparing for the trip. I know that when it comes to funds there are still a few of us who are in need of more support. I encourage everyone to pray for that. The Lord will provide for all of our needs so we need to come to him in prayer.
A second prayer request I have is to REALLY seek out and pray for team unity. We are going, representing the body of Christ. It will be vital for us to work together as one body. Although that body has different parts (just as we will have different talents and may be doing different ministries) it still works together. I pray that our transition from individuals who do not know each other to a team will be a smooth one! I ask that you pray for that as well.
We also need to continue to pray for our ministry that the doors would be open and we would hear God’s guidance. He is doing a great work in Peru and I know that I am excited and humbled to be part of it!
Finally, I ask for prayer as your leader. I pray that I may be a servant to each and everyone of you. I ask for your prayers that I may have the wisdom and patients. I am extremely humbled and excited to have the opportunity to work with each of you!
