Hey, my name is Ty, and I am from Weston, Wisconson, and it it cold here! Can’t wait to get to Peru! I am 17 years old, and very excited about sharing the Bible with others. I am in wrestling and karate, and I love it. This summer I am going to join a MMA team(Mixed Marcial Arts; think UFC), that is, after I get back from Peru. I also love to play my guitar. My brother plays bass, so we have just started to make some songs together. I work at a local place called Sam’s Pizza where I bake pizza and garlic bread and do not enjoy it. I hope to be getting a new job after I get back from Peru.
I’m kind of excited to meet you all. This trip will be a blast. I can’t wait to use my spanish. I also plan on bringing my camcorder so that I can show my church when I get back. I hope more people will come with me next year.
hey ty! welcome to the team. you’ll have to teach me some mma moves cause that’s pretty beast. and it should be fun to jam with you on guitar. i can play a little, but mostly i sing. can’t wait to meet you!
hey ty! nice to meet you..sorta… :] hmmm so idk where weston is, but my grandma lives in WI so we go up to st. germain every summer (do you know where that is?) and i love it! thats where i’ll be headed when we get back from peru!
Hey Jeri, hi Emily.
Emily: Ha, ha, ok… r u serious? never met a girl that wanted to learn mma before. But as for my guitar playing, I am just starting to learn “rock songs.” I played for my youth group’s praise team last year, so I know many of the “praise” songs.
Jeri: I didn’t know where st. germain was, but I just google earthed it, and now I do! Wow, your grandma lives further north than I do. Weston is a suburb of Wausau, right about in the middle of the state. But my grandparents live in Superior, which looks like it is pretty close to st. germain.
all: by the way, my pic is acting all shy like which is wierd because I’m out going, so if any of you guys are more computer smart than me, it would help to know how to get my pic to show up.
